USDA Assistance Available for the Purchase of Grain Bagging Equipment
USDA has announced its Emergency Grain Storage Facility Assistance Program (EGSFP), which provides assistance to farmers in certain counties in Kentucky, Minnesota, South Dakota, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Missouri, North Dakota and Tennessee that were recently affected by derechos, floods, hurricanes, tornadoes and winter storms. This program may cover 75% of the cost of a new grain bagger (or 90% for underserved producers), up to $125,000.
