Equipment Today has named the Loftness Stone Ax as one of the winners of this year’s Contractors’ Top 50 New Products Award, which recognizes the best new products in the commercial construction industry. The Stone Ax is a new stone crusher attachment, featuring a 6-inch stone capacity and 4-inch working depth. It can be used for a variety of applications, such as construction site preparation, gravel road improvement and agricultural land reclamation.
Compatible with skid steers from 80 to 135 hydraulic horsepower, the Stone Ax features a large 275cc radial piston motor and a specialized rotor design to help produce some of the finest crush sizes in the industry. An adjustable anvil and rear hydraulic door allow operators to control how thoroughly stones are processed to meet individual jobsite needs. The attachment is designed for outstanding durability with large protected bearings, a Hardox lined body, 1-inch steel drum walls, and a heavy-duty belt drive.
